SIGNIFICANT ACHIEVEMENTS DURING THE YEAR 2010-11

• By virtue of its consistent performance, B&R was awarded Miniratna Category-I status by Hon’ble Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises on 21-09-2010.
• B&R achieved highest ever Turnover of Rs.1327.70 Crores (against a MoU target of Rs. 1240 Crores) during the year 2010-11. The Company also recorded unprecedented PBT of Rs. 85.30 Crores (Unaudited Provisional) (against a MoU target of Rs. 39 Crores).
• In connection with MoU between DHI & B&R for the year 2009-2010, B&R achieved MoU Composite score of 1.46 with the MoU Rating as EXCELLENT as confirmed by MoU Division of DPE on 11th March 2011. The Company is also expected a MoU Rating of ‘EXCELLENT’ for the year 2010-11.                          
• The Company has paid highest ever Dividend of Rs. 109.98 Lakhs for the year 2009-10 as against Rs. 54.99 Lakhs paid during 2008-09. The Company has proposed dividend of Rs. 164.97 Lakhs for the year 2010-11.
• The Company have cleared all GOI Loans and Interest thereon during June'2010. Loans not yet due have also been repaid before the due date. The Company do not have any pending Loan or Interest due to GOI.
• B&R awarded ‘Turnaround CPSE Award 2010’ by BRPSE on 10th March 2011.
• B&R received `Best Vendor Award 2010 (Civil)’ from M/s. BHEL (PSER).
