The Vigilance division strives to ensure probity and integrity at all levels in B&R. To achieve this objective, periodic vigilance inspection of on-going jobs are carried out at different project sites as well as Howrah Works.

Vigilance Department considers that vigilance and anti-corruption work is essentially a management function. The Vigilance Department at the Corporate Office provides guidance, supervision and control to all the Vigilance functionaries of the Company.

The Vigilance Department tenders advices to the management by applying specialized methods to perform this function. The main emphasis is on preventive vigilance by way of adherence / improvement to systems and procedures, periodical review of code books and manual, framing of rules / guidelines for transactions of business of the company.

The Division is headed by the Chief Vigilance Officer, who reports to the Chairman-cum-Managing Director. He is assisted by DGM ( Vigilance) and Vigilance Officer in the Corporate Office and Manager (Vigilance) at Mumbai Office.
