Corporate Social Responsibility has been defined as ‘companies integrating social and environmental concerns in their daily business operations’ and ‘undertaking meaningful social activities aiming at welfare of the society at large’.
Bridge & Roof is amongst India’s largest companies specializing in infrastructure construction. B&R has always worked towards improving the quality of life of the communities it serves. Be it within the organization, the industry or society, B&R has a strong sense of social responsibility, which is reflected in the company’s values and initiatives.
B&R Vishwakarma Scheme of Skill Development
The concept of the project is to build communities that are more skilled and capable of sustaining themselves independently by capitalizing on the expertise, knowledge and competencies available in the community situation. The objective of the scheme is to equip the community members with skill and knowledge that makes them sustainably and regularly employable in collaboration with recognized institutes all over the country.
